The Nigeria Football Federation  has postponed  the Round of 16 matches of the Federation Cup in the men’s category, as well as quarter-final matches of the women’s category, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The body  said the postponement was as a result of the Eid-el-Fitri.NAN recalls that the matches were earlier scheduled for July 5 and 6.

The NFF said the matches had been rescheduled for July 12 and July 13.

In the fixtures, Sunshine Stars  face  Akwa United in Makurdi on July 12 while Crown  and  Enugu Rangers  clash in Kaduna on the same day.

Rivers United  and  Shooting Stars  will now battle  in Kaduna on July 13 while Wikki Tourists  confront Plateau United in Akure on the same day.

IfeanyiUbah  take on Katsina United  in Ilorin on July 13 while Nasarawa United tackle  Dynamite  of Benin City  in Lokoja on the same day.

Warri Wolves and  Prime  of Oshogbo  will also play  in Makurdi on July 13.

The postponed Round of 32 clash between Enyimba  and El-Kanemi Warriors  will also come up in Abuja on July 13.

In the women’s competition on July 12, Abia Angels  and  Nasarawa Amazons will clash in Lokoja while Delta Queens  face  Katsina Queens  in Abuja.
